ModenaFiere Exhibition Center is hosting “Modenantiquaria 2018,” an antiques exhibition.
Now in its 32nd edition, Modenantiquaria, the longest and most visited annual exhibition of high antiques in Italy, is among the most qualified expressions of the ancient art market in Europe. The exhibition showcases products and services such as: fine carpets, furniture, glass, silverware, ceramics and porcelain, prints and paintings, watches and jewels, tapestries, books, sculptures, archaeology, costumes, antique objects and icons, oriental and South American art, wells, fountains, statues, balusters, portals, ornamental friezes, railings, gates, lamps, outdoor benches and tables in cast iron and stone, capitals, steps, bersot sheds, vases, columns, gazebos and roof tiles.
ModenaFiere explicitly aims to position the historic event on the international circuit of excellence, paying great attention to the guest galleries, contents and level setups. This year, the event also presents three different thematic sections: “Modenantiquaria,” the main one, dedicated to antiques, “Petra,” dedicated to decoration and design for exteriors, and finally, “Excelsior,” a review of 19th and 20th century Italian painting.
Modenantiquaria, sponsored by the Italian Antiquari Association and FIMA, has chosen a precise positioning, identifying an important space for the Italian and international market.
“Modenantiquaria 2018” is on view through February 18, 2018, at ModenaFiere Exhibition Center, via Virgilio 70 - 41123 Modena, Italy, noted the Artribune.
